Our DMSO comes in a dark-tinted bottle for added UV protection and quality storage.
You want to store your DMSO is a cool, dark place with relatively stable temperatures. The refrigerator is often the best choice.
Limit air exposure to your DMSO, maintaining a tight seal, and never allow your bottle to sit in direct sunlight or be stored near sources of heat.
If my bottle is frozen or the liquid is solid:
Dimethyl Sulfoxide has a freezing point of 65.3°F, or 18.4°C. It becomes solid below this temperature. If your bottle becomes solid, you can return it back to liquid form by placing it in a container of warm water. Or you can run your bottle under gentle-running warm water. Please take care when doing so. Always keep the bottle and contents away from any open flames or sources of heat.
Never microwave or boil your bottle. Do not expose your DMSO to temperatures above 110°F or 43.3°C. Make certain to store your bottle out of direct light and sources of heat.
