I've treated my water. How many PPM of ClO2 are present?

Last updated on 10 Mar, 2026

Our baseline measurement has been tested by adding 2 activated drops of Chlorine Dioxide into 16oz of water, resulting in an approximate parts-per-million 0.8 (ppm). This measurement can vary.

You can use special Chlorine Dioxide test strips to determine the approximate PPM. An example is demonstrated in this video.

If you would like to increase the PPM for your use, you can do one or both, of two things:

(1) Decrease the amount of water that you are putting the CDS into.

(2) Increase the amount of drops that you take from both bottles to make your activated CDS.
