To ensure the highest quality performance, it is best to create ClO2 at the time of need/use. Technically speaking, once ClO2 has been made and is left to sit without use, it's potency will dissipate (lessen).
To give context, if a bottle is made and sits already 'mixed,' it is losing it's power and by the time that you use it, it will be much less effective.
