You will want to create Chlorine Dioxide by mixing parts from each bottle, prior to use.

Never activate your Chlorine Dioxide in a metal cup or container.

For use with drinking water, we recommend the following:

  • Mix 3 to 5 drops of PART A (Sodium Chlorite) with an equal amount of drops of PART B (Citric Acid or Hydrochloric Acid) in a shot glass, or another small plastic or glass container.

  • Wait for 30-60 seconds (activation time). This will ensure the necessary reaction.

  • Then add this mixture to any water source.

To treat a smaller volume of water (for example: 16oz of water), 2-3 drops from each bottle is sufficient.

3-5 drops from each bottle will safely treat up to one US gallon of water (3.78 liters). Some people like to use a little more from each bottle to create their activated solution, hence the range of 3-5 drops.

Remember to always add equal parts, from both bottles, when making your Chlorine Dioxide.
